Summer is here and so is the time for easy-breezy entertaining. This simple recipe is ready in a jiffy and requires very few ingredients. Pair with something bubbly and fruity and your evening is set for amazing.

4 Figs

4-6 ounces Gorgonzola

Olive Oil

2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

1/2 tsp Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a skillet over medium heat add 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar and 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Heat until reduced by half, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Slice figs into quarters and remove stems.

Slice baguette and drizzle with olive oil. Add bread to heated oven, remove when toasted.

Crumble gorgonzola on toasts (option to place back in oven to melt the cheese).

Layer figs on top.

Add to serving platter and drizzle with vanilla balsamic reduction and honey.
