Serving Bowl in Wisteria with Gold Rim
This serving bowl was hand-built without a pottery wheel from a mound of porcelain clay, shaped and altered by hand into a beautiful, organic bowl form.
The interior surface is glazed with our handmade Wisteria glaze, a sophisticated purple gray. This bowl is finished with a wavering, hand painted band of 22k gold on the rim and gold splatters on the exterior.
The texture of the porcelain is reminiscent of waves pulling the sand. An organic ebb and flow.
The underside of the bowl remains unglazed and the white porcelain is sanded to a smooth finish. Each bowl is signed by the artist Lindsay Emery.
