Stoneware Vase in Rose Watercolor and Gold #25

Suite One Studio

This wheel thrown stoneware vase is entirely one-of-a kind. Thrown from an earthen, rustic brown stoneware this piece was decorated by hand with luxe high gloss, handmade glazes, and finished with metallic details made from genuine 22k gold.

The raw, unglazed clay peeks out from the glazes to invoke textural and visual interest. Whether it's filled with flowers or wintery branches, or left empty as a statement vessel this handmade pot brings a touch of easy sophistication wherever it's displayed.

The skillful silhouette of this classic form was thrown on the pottery wheel by Lindsay Emery, Suite One Studio owner.

*Vase #25 is the tallest in the collection. The form is an updated variation on a classic decorated with layers of watercolor glazes in ivory white and Rose pink. These handmade glazes expose the naturally occurring iron spots in the stoneware clay. 22k gold painterly splatters boldly adorn the exterior mimicking the natural iron spots and beautifully reflecting light. A thick, wavering, hand-painted gold rim completes the form.

9.5" tall by 5.5" widest point, 4.5" opening at rim
